1. Definitions, Acceptance of Terms, Eligibility & Privacy Commitment
For purposes of these Terms of Service:
- "SafeApp", "we," "our," or "us" refers to SafeApp, its parent company, subsidiaries, affiliates, successors, assigns, licensors, contractors, service providers, and authorized representatives.
- "User," "you," or "your" means any individual, business, organization, or entity accessing or using SafeApp.
- "Services" include all applications, websites, software, messaging services, communication tools, social networking features, digital payment services, wallet services, marketplaces, business tools, AI features, cloud services, APIs, advertisements, and any current or future functionality offered by SafeApp.
- "Content" means messages, text, photos, videos, audio, files, documents, comments, reactions, profile information, metadata, livestreams, stories, business listings, advertisements, and any other information transmitted or made available through SafeApp.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, registering for, accessing, or using SafeApp, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional policies incorporated by reference.
If you do not agree with any portion of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of SafeApp and its services.
Your continued use of SafeApp constitutes your ongoing acceptance of these Terms and any future amendments made in accordance with applicable law.
3. Eligibility
You represent and warrant that:
- You have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- You will comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.
- Any information provided during registration is accurate and complete.
- You will maintain the security of your account credentials.
- You will not create accounts using false identities, fraudulent information, or unauthorized credentials.
SafeApp reserves the right to refuse registration, restrict access, suspend, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable laws.
4. Privacy Commitment
SafeApp is built on the principles of privacy, security, transparency, and user trust.
We are committed to collecting only the information reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, secure, improve, and develop our services.
SafeApp does not sell users' personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties.
User information is processed only for legitimate operational, security, legal, and service-related purposes as described in our Privacy Policy.
5. End-to-End Encryption
Where implemented, SafeApp provides end-to-end encryption for eligible private communications.
End-to-end encrypted communications are designed so that only the intended participants can access the contents of those communications. SafeApp is not intended to have access to the plaintext contents of end-to-end encrypted messages.
Encryption protections apply only to features specifically identified as end-to-end encrypted and may not apply to all services, metadata, cloud backups, public content, business accounts, or features where encryption is technically unavailable or disabled.
6. Security Commitment
SafeApp implements administrative, organizational, physical, and technical safeguards designed to protect user information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, misuse, or destruction.
While no electronic system can guarantee absolute security, SafeApp continuously works to improve its security infrastructure, encryption technologies, fraud prevention systems, abuse detection mechanisms, and platform integrity.
7. User Trust
Protecting user privacy is one of SafeApp's highest priorities.
SafeApp will not intentionally disclose users' private information or communications to third parties except where required by applicable law, valid legal process, user authorization, or where reasonably necessary to protect the safety, security, legal rights, or operational integrity of SafeApp, its users, or the public.
8. User Accounts
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their accounts, passwords, authentication credentials, recovery information, and connected devices.
SafeApp reserves the right to require identity verification, additional security measures, or account recovery procedures where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with legal obligations, or maintain platform security.
9. Accurate Information
Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and while using SafeApp.
Users shall not impersonate another individual, organization, government authority, business, or entity, nor create accounts using false, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized information.
SafeApp reserves the right to request verification or restrict accounts where authenticity cannot reasonably be confirmed.
10. User Responsibilities
Users are solely responsible for their conduct and all content, communications, files, media, transactions, business activities, advertisements, and other information transmitted or made available through SafeApp.
Users agree not to:
- Violate applicable laws or regulations.
- Upload illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading content.
- Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate, or abuse others.
- Promote terrorism, violent extremism, organized crime, or illegal activities.
- Distribute malware, viruses, spyware, ransomware, or malicious code.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, servers, APIs, or systems.
- Circumvent SafeApp security measures.
- Spam, manipulate engagement, create fake accounts, or artificially inflate platform activity.
- Infringe intellectual property rights.
- Misrepresent products, services, businesses, or identities.
- Interfere with the operation, security, or integrity of SafeApp.
11. Community Standards
Users agree to comply with the SafeApp Community Guidelines, which form an integral part of these Terms.
SafeApp may investigate, restrict, remove, disable, label, limit visibility, or take enforcement action against content or accounts that violate platform rules, applicable laws, or user safety standards.
Enforcement actions may occur with or without prior notice where permitted by applicable law.
12. User Content
Users retain ownership of the content they create and upload to SafeApp.
However, by submitting, posting, uploading, transmitting, or otherwise making content available through SafeApp, users grant SafeApp a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, distribute, adapt (where technically necessary), and make such content available solely for operating, securing, maintaining, improving, promoting, and providing the SafeApp services.
This license ends when the content is permanently deleted from SafeApp, except where retention is required by law, legitimate legal process, technical limitations, backups, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
13. Responsibility for Content
Users represent and warrant that:
- They own or possess all necessary rights and permissions relating to the content they upload.
- Their content complies with these Terms and Community Guidelines.
- Users remain solely responsible for all consequences arising from the publication or transmission of their content.
14. Content Moderation
SafeApp may use automated systems, artificial intelligence, machine learning technologies, human review, user reports, and other moderation tools to detect, investigate, restrict, remove, label, reduce visibility of, or otherwise enforce policies relating to content or accounts.
Moderation decisions may occur automatically or manually and may affect the visibility, ranking, accessibility, recommendation, monetization, or availability of content or accounts.
15. Account Security
Users are responsible for maintaining appropriate security over their devices and accounts.
SafeApp recommends enabling available security features, including strong passwords, multi-factor authentication, device security, and recovery options where available.
SafeApp shall not be responsible for losses resulting from a user's failure to protect their account credentials or devices.
16. Reporting Violations
Users may report suspected violations of these Terms, Community Guidelines, illegal activity, intellectual property infringement, fraud, abuse, or security concerns through SafeApp's designated reporting mechanisms.
SafeApp may investigate reports and take appropriate action at its sole discretion, consistent with applicable law and platform policies.
17. Commercial Services
SafeApp may provide or introduce commercial services including, but not limited to, digital payments, wallet functionality, business accounts, creator monetization, subscriptions, virtual goods, affiliate marketing, financial technology services, e-commerce tools, marketplaces, advertising services, promotional features, business verification, donations, tipping, and other present or future commercial offerings.
Certain services may be subject to separate agreements, eligibility requirements, verification procedures, fees, or additional terms.
SafeApp reserves the right to introduce, modify, suspend, restrict, or discontinue any commercial service at any time where permitted by applicable law.
18. Payments and Digital Wallet
Where available, payment services, wallet functionality, digital assets, financial services, or transaction-related features may be provided directly by SafeApp or through authorized third-party providers.
Users are solely responsible for complying with all applicable financial, banking, taxation, anti-money laundering (AML), counter-terrorism financing (CTF), sanctions, and regulatory requirements applicable to their use of such services.
SafeApp may delay, reject, reverse, suspend, or investigate transactions where reasonably necessary to comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, protect users, or maintain platform security.
19. Advertising and Sponsored Content
SafeApp may display advertisements, sponsored content, promoted posts, promoted listings, commercial recommendations, affiliate promotions, or other marketing communications.
Advertisements may be selected using contextual information, user preferences, or other information described in the Privacy Policy.
SafeApp does not guarantee, endorse, verify, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, quality, legality, safety, or reliability of products, services, offers, or claims made by advertisers or third parties.
Users interact with advertisements and commercial content entirely at their own discretion and risk.
20. Business Accounts
Businesses, organizations, creators, merchants, advertisers, and professional users are solely responsible for ensuring that their products, services, advertisements, listings, and business activities comply with applicable laws, consumer protection requirements, advertising standards, and these Terms.
SafeApp may suspend, restrict, remove, or terminate business accounts that violate applicable laws or platform policies.
21. Third-Party Services
SafeApp may integrate with or provide access to third-party websites, applications, APIs, payment providers, cloud services, communication platforms, operating systems, application stores, or other external services.
SafeApp does not own, control, operate, monitor, endorse, or guarantee any third-party service and shall not be responsible for the availability, accuracy, legality, security, performance, privacy practices, or functionality of such services.
Users access third-party services entirely at their own risk.
22. Artificial Intelligence and Automated Systems
SafeApp may utilize artificial intelligence, machine learning technologies, automated moderation systems, recommendation engines, fraud detection systems, spam detection tools, ranking systems, search technologies, security monitoring systems, and other automated processes to operate, secure, improve, personalize, and maintain the platform.
Such systems may assist with:
- Content recommendations
- Spam prevention
- Fraud detection
- Security monitoring
- Platform optimization
- Search functionality
- Translation
- Accessibility
- Customer support
- Community safety
- Policy enforcement
Users acknowledge that automated systems may influence content visibility, recommendations, rankings, moderation decisions, account status, feature availability, or other aspects of the SafeApp experience.
23. Beta and Experimental Features
SafeApp may offer beta, preview, testing, early-access, or experimental features.
Such features may contain bugs, interruptions, limitations, errors, incomplete functionality, or unexpected behavior.
Beta features are provided on an "AS IS" basis and may be modified, suspended, restricted, or discontinued at any time without liability.
24. Platform Availability
SafeApp continuously works to provide reliable services but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or continuous availability.
Maintenance, upgrades, technical issues, cyberattacks, internet failures, infrastructure problems, force majeure events, or other circumstances may temporarily affect platform functionality.
SafeApp may perform maintenance with or without prior notice where reasonably necessary.
25. Service Modifications
SafeApp reserves the right to update, redesign, improve, replace, suspend, discontinue, or modify any feature, service, functionality, pricing model, interface, algorithm, or operational process at any time.
Nothing in these Terms shall be interpreted as guaranteeing the continued availability of any specific feature or service.
26. Intellectual Property Rights
All SafeApp software, source code, applications, algorithms, artificial intelligence systems, databases, APIs, user interfaces, designs, logos, trademarks, service marks, branding, graphics, text, documentation, and all other intellectual property associated with SafeApp are and shall remain the exclusive property of SafeApp and its licensors.
Nothing contained in these Terms grants users any ownership interest in SafeApp's intellectual property except for the limited right to use the Services in accordance with these Terms.
27. Copyright & Intellectual Property Complaints
SafeApp respects intellectual property rights and expects users to do the same.
SafeApp may investigate complaints relating to copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, publicity rights, privacy rights, or other intellectual property rights.
Where appropriate, SafeApp may remove or disable access to allegedly infringing content, suspend or terminate repeat infringers, and cooperate with lawful requests from rights holders or competent authorities where required by applicable law.
28. Privacy Commitment
Protecting user privacy is a core principle of SafeApp.
SafeApp is committed to handling personal information responsibly and in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
We strive to collect only the information reasonably necessary to provide, secure, maintain, improve, and develop our Services.
SafeApp does not sell users' personal information to advertisers, marketers, or data brokers.
29. End-to-End Encryption
Where expressly identified within the Services, SafeApp provides end-to-end encryption for eligible private communications.
End-to-end encrypted communications are designed so that only the intended participants can access the contents of those communications.
30. Data Security
SafeApp employs reasonable administrative, technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect user information against unauthorized access, disclosure, misuse, alteration, destruction, or accidental loss.
Security measures may include encryption, access controls, authentication mechanisms, network monitoring, intrusion detection, fraud prevention technologies, and ongoing security improvements.
While SafeApp continuously enhances its security practices, no electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
31. Confidentiality of Communications
SafeApp respects the confidentiality of private communications.
SafeApp does not intentionally access, disclose, sell, or share the contents of private end-to-end encrypted communications except where technically impossible to avoid, expressly authorized by the user, or required by applicable law.
SafeApp does not sell private communications to advertisers, marketing companies, or unrelated third parties.
32. Data Sharing
SafeApp may share user information only where reasonably necessary for:
- Providing the Services;
- Operating essential infrastructure;
- Security and fraud prevention;
- Legal compliance;
- Protecting the rights, safety, or security of users or SafeApp;
- Corporate restructuring, merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
SafeApp does not sell users' personal information to third parties.
33. Transparency
SafeApp is committed to transparency regarding its privacy practices.
Where legally permitted, SafeApp may notify affected users before disclosing user information in response to lawful governmental or legal requests unless prohibited by law, court order, or other legally binding obligation.
Where appropriate, SafeApp may publish transparency reports describing the number and general categories of lawful information requests received.
34. Security Cooperation
Users agree to cooperate with reasonable security measures implemented by SafeApp, including identity verification, account recovery procedures, fraud prevention measures, and security investigations where necessary to protect the platform and its users.
35. Security Incident Response
SafeApp maintains procedures designed to identify, investigate, contain, and respond to security incidents affecting the Services.
Where required by applicable law, SafeApp may notify affected users or relevant authorities of qualifying security incidents or personal data breaches.
36. Account Suspension and Termination
SafeApp reserves the right, at its sole discretion and where permitted by applicable law, to suspend, restrict, disable, limit, or permanently terminate any account, content, feature, or access to the Services if it reasonably believes that a user has:
- Violated these Terms, the Privacy Policy, or Community Guidelines;
- Engaged in illegal, fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive conduct;
- Compromised the security or integrity of SafeApp or its users;
- Infringed intellectual property or other legal rights;
- Used automated tools, bots, or unauthorized software in violation of these Terms; or
- Otherwise created a risk of legal liability, security harm, or operational disruption.
SafeApp may take such action with or without prior notice where permitted by applicable law.
37. Export Controls and Sanctions
Users agree not to access or use SafeApp in violation of applicable export control laws, sanctions regulations, trade restrictions, or other legal requirements.
SafeApp may restrict or prohibit access to the Services where required by applicable law or governmental authority.
38. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SafeApp and its Services are provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
SafeApp makes no express or implied warranties regarding uninterrupted availability, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, security, compatibility, or non-infringement.
Users assume all risks associated with their use of the Services.
39. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SafeApp, its affiliates, licensors, directors, officers, employees, contractors, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, punitive, or lost-profit damages, including loss of data, goodwill, revenue, business opportunities, or service interruptions arising from or relating to the use of, or inability to use, the Services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion is prohibited by applicable law.
40. Indemnification
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SafeApp, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, licensors, successors, and partners from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, judgments, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of or relating to:
- Their use of the Services;
- Their violation of these Terms;
- Their violation of applicable laws;
- Their infringement of the rights of any third party.
41. Force Majeure
SafeApp shall not be liable for any delay, interruption, failure, or inability to provide the Services resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, armed conflict, terrorism, labor disputes, internet outages, infrastructure failures, governmental actions, pandemics, regulatory changes, or other force majeure events.
42. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction designated by SafeApp.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services shall be resolved before the competent courts or other legally recognized dispute resolution bodies of the applicable jurisdiction, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
43. Changes to These Terms
SafeApp may revise, update, modify, or replace these Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, or related policies from time to time.
Where required by applicable law, SafeApp will provide appropriate notice of material changes.
Continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those changes.
44. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or competent authority to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions shall remain valid, enforceable, and in full force and effect.
45. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with the Privacy Policy, Community Guidelines, and any additional policies or supplemental terms expressly incorporated by reference, constitute the entire agreement between SafeApp and its users regarding the use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, or communications relating to the same subject matter.
46. Contact Information
Questions, legal notices, privacy requests, intellectual property complaints, regulatory inquiries, and other communications regarding these Terms or the Services may be submitted through SafeApp's official support channels or other contact methods designated by SafeApp.
47. Language Precedence
If these Terms or any related policies are translated into multiple languages, the English-language version shall prevail in the event of any conflict, inconsistency, or ambiguity, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
48. Effective Date
These Terms of Service become effective immediately upon publication and remain in effect until amended, replaced, or withdrawn by SafeApp.
